The Fazzoletto vase is one of the first works designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in 1948. To achieve its sweeping form, a maestro in Murano utilizes the 15thcentury mano volante (flying hand) technique, where soft molds are spun around to form the silhouette of a handkerchief swaying in the breeze. Only one glass master can perform this gesture, making each creation a true wonder of the world. Handcrafted of blown glass Due to the artisanal nature of handblown glass, each piece is unique, and slight color variations may occur Approx. 9.0"Dia. x 12.2"T Item weight, 3.8 lbs.
